We are often asked what working with us actually looks and feels like.

Not so much the chemistry we bring to the collaboration, which we are told is always enjoyable and refreshingly collaborative, but the process itself.

We call that process Visioneering®.

The Visioneering Process by The Visioneers

At its core, Visioneering is about uncovering what truly drives a business. Not the obvious stuff like revenue or financial performance, vital though they are, but the deeper force behind them. The reason your business exists in the first place.

More often than not, that reason starts life in the founder’s head and heart.

Over time, it is interpreted by others, usually senior leaders, and translated into strategies, targets and day to day decisions. Somewhere along the way, the original vision can become blurred, reshaped, or quietly lost amid the realities of running and growing a business.

Our job is to bring it back into sharp focus.

Before we begin, we agree the practicalities. What success looks like, how it will be measured, and which audiences and channels really matter. Vision without traction helps no one.

Phase 01: Explore

Through a facilitated workshop and a series of one-to-one conversations with senior stakeholders, we start digging beneath the surface. Using carefully designed exercises, we strip away layers of business as usual to uncover the seed of greatness at the heart of the organisation.

This is the original, distinctive idea that sparked the business or product in the first place. The vision that set everything in motion, even if it has faded into the background over time.

Vision is not strategy. Strategy focuses on ‘what’ you do and ‘how’ you do it. Vision answers the bigger question of ‘why’ you exist and the positive change you want to make when your work is at its best.

You will know when we have found, or rediscovered, the vision because you will feel it. The room shifts. Energy lifts. People lean forward. It can be exhilarating and, occasionally, a little emotional.

Phase 02: Envision

Once the vision is clear, we work with you to shape it into a compelling narrative. One that captures the ambition, intent and personality of your business, and brings it to life with real proof points drawn from within the organisation.

The first draft won’t be perfect. It never is. What it should be is unmistakably you. It will contain the essential elements of your business’s DNA, including its passions, its ambitions and its view of the future.

This is also the point where we are often asked to develop brand or business straplines. After all, a great strapline should distil your vision into something sharp, memorable and instantly understandable by customers, investors, colleagues and future recruits alike.

Phase 03: Ignite

Once the visionary narrative is agreed, it is time to put it to work.

We return to the realities of your day-to-day operations, strategic objectives and KPIs, and decide where the narrative can have the greatest impact. That might mean attracting customers or investors by clearly demonstrating the transformative power of your product or service. In that case, brand films, updated web copy or sales toolkits rooted in the visionary narrative become powerful enablers.

Or it might be about galvanising a growing team around a genuinely inspiring view of the future. Internal engagement films, campaign messaging and visual communications can play a vital role in aligning culture, recruitment and retention.
